Manchester City stumbled again after drawing 2-2 at Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday, with Pep Guardiola’s side winning just one of their
last nine games.

The Citizens had to chase both times, with Erling Haaland’s header and Rico Lewis’ strike.

The defending champions fought hard in the final moments of the https://ufabet999.app game to secure victory, but Lewis was sent off with a second yellow card, leaving the visitors with 10 men.

The draw leaves City in fourth place in the table, eight points behind leaders Liverpool, who had their match postponed this week and have played one more game.

Manchester City Player Ratings

Stefan Ortega – 6

Almost had a glitch when Dias’ header bounced a little. Did his best to open the scoring for Munoz but couldn’t keep it out. Same with Lacroix’s header which was too close.

Kyle Walker – 4

Palace took full credit for the opening goal, as the only person to make a mistake was the offside check, and the second goal was also denied by Lacroix’s header.

Ruben Dias – 8

He had to share responsibility with Guardiola who pushed up high, leaving the space behind him wide open. In the end, Munoz broke away and shot. But other than that, he carried the team’s defense because he had many beautiful interceptions and blocked shots.

Josko Gvardiol – 5.5

He shouldn’t have been pushed up there with Dias for the first goal. It felt a bit awkward to go back to playing centre-back, his natural position, with too many missed passes and distractions.

Rico Lewis – 4

Defense is not his strong point because he is a bit too small, so he can’t beat his opponents. He was burned by Munoz many times, but he made up for it by scoring a goal to tie the game at 2-2. However, he was not careful because he rushed in and got a second yellow card and was sent off the field.

Ilkay Gundogan – 5.5

He had a volley that hit the post in the first half but had trouble dealing with Palace’s energetic midfield.

Bernardo Silva – 6

His energy helped the midfield and covered up Gundogan’s weaknesses, and he provided a crucial assist for Lewis’ equaliser.

Savinho – 5.5

Made a little less impact from the right wing, found opportunities to dribble past Mitchell on a countable basis, even though there were chances to score, but overall it was not as impressive as it should have been.

Kevin De Bruyne – 7

He made several beautiful passes and often had good coordination with Haaland, which is something that Man City has been missing for a long time. However, he was a bit quiet in the second half until he was substituted.

Matheus Nunes – 7

Although he is not fast because he is not a natural winger, he understands the game and is involved quite a lot before providing an assist for Haaland to head the equalizer to make it 1-1.

Erling Haaland – 6.5

Had a golden opportunity to quickly equalise but his shot was unfortunately saved by Henderson. However, he made amends with a header and scored a goal. In the second half, there were almost no chances to score.

Substitute

Jeremy Doku (on for Savinho 79′)  –  5.5  –  Came on and caused quite a stir for the Palace defence, but was a bit short on time.
